When we got to the top we dicovered if we had of come up from the other side we would of walked up a nice gentle grade instead of straight up.
I had a nice slide down the hill. Yeah only one slide l wasn't walking back up there.
Marlene
Hi
Well this post has been a long time coming.
It has been a very enventful year with the Bushfires in Feb, making and quilting of lost s of quilt to give to surviors , our 1st overseas trip to Thailand in May, Caravan trip to Adelaide and Mildura and Echuca for 2 weeks.
When wewent to Adelaide we stayed at Lobethal which is where my brother lives.
What a beautiful spot it is.
Its called the valley of Praise,
We want to move there its such a beautiful area.
So my goal now is to start uploading random photos from the last 12 months.
The first photo was made for a Challenge for our group (Alexandra Quilters) It had to made with Japanese fabrics and be no bigger than A4 page and l have made it out of quarter inch hexagons.
It took me 3 months to complete. It kept me sane while the fires were here in Feb.
Thats 2 photos in 2 days, Can l keep this up.

ABOUT REDGATE QUILTING
Marlene began knitting/crocheting/sewing for her 2 daughters (Nicole & Amee) 20+ years ago. She found an interest in patchwork and quilting 10 years ago when attending a sampler patchwork and quilting craft class. This is where her love for quilting began.
After years of time consuming hand quilting and struggling with large quilts on a domestic sewing machine, the decision to purchase an American Professional Quilting System was made by Marlene and her husband Shane, and early in 2004, Redgate Quilting was formed.
Marlene works out of the small central Victorian country town of Alexandra. Alexandra was formerly known as Red Gate. Marlene has a keen interest in the history of Alexandra, hence the name Redgate Quilting.
In 2008 Marlene won the first of what’s sure to be many awards for her quilting. She has also been had quilts featured on a number of quilting websites and Australian Patchwork & Quilting Magazines.
